Default 2002 Caravan Intake Manifold Gasket Leak. Please help with suggestions / recommendations !

I saw some coolant leak on the driver side. I looked under hood and found coolant traces on the engine. I checked under the vehicle and saw some couple of droplets of coolant near the intake manifold gasket. This coolant leak appears on and off. When it occurs its only a few drops.

My mechanic says that intake manifold gasket has to be replaced. Sometimes it may prevent a leak and at other times collant drops down on the exterior and on the ground. He is looking at charging close to $700 ($500 labour + $200 parts/supplies).

My questions is:-
1. Is $700 right prices for replacing Intake Manifold Gasket on Dodge caravan ?
2. Can I just continue running my vehicle with the coolant leak, adding more coOlant on a monthly basis ? Will this case any engine damage or blow any other system in my vehicle ?

Any suggestions / recommendatiosn will be greatly appreciated!!!

you need to replace it.if you see it leaking on the outside you can bet it's leaking on the inside.the price sounds about right.
