Default 1997 dodge caravan 3 ltr leaking coolant

1997 Dodge Caravan 3 liters engine leaking coolant, coming out from under the water pipe, (bore) driver side, running over the transmission, and dripping on the floor (it is not coming out from the pipe itself, as o ring is new). Anybody can advise from where the coolant coming, top water hose, bypass, bottom hose, thermostat gasket all new…Thanks

Waterpump is bad.

I had the same thing happen with my 96 at about 146K mileage. Changed the second pipe & "O" ring, kept leaking & I could smell the anti-freeze after about 1k miles.

I ended up changing the waterpump, timing belt & hoses/belts. It was a job, but taking it slow I got it done.......... in about 3 days.

I'll give detailed instructions on changing the water pump if you want to attempt it yourself. Stealership wanted almost $800.00. Parts cost about $100.00 & I had another vehicle to drive while I fixed the van.

The crossover tube maybe rotten out and causing your leak. the intake manifold will need to come off.
