How can you use an air impact on a pulley where its almost impossible to get your hand into?
You need to loosen the bolts before you remove the belts, and then some times jam the pulley without bending it. Good luck with that.

is it importand to set-up the engine to TDC (top dead center) before we remove timing belt, and water pump?... Thanks.

Its a lot easyer to do the job. and that way you know when you start the engine it will run and not guessing if you set the belt up right. Also if you don't the timing belt right you bend valves!!!!

I have the factury manual for 97 dodge caravan, which is showing the diagrams, but no tips how to set the engine to TDC.

Thank you guys for the help
I replaced the water pump and timing belt and tensioner without any problem
the van working good
