Default How many o2 sensors?

How many o2 sensors are there on a 2003 Grand Caravan Sport? 3.3l engine.

Where is the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor referenced by code p0135 located? Is it that one to the rear of the engine (rear exhaust manifold, really hard to get too it seems) ?

I see two of them. The one I mentioned above and the one on the side of the catalytic converter. I thought I read a post somewhere saying that this vehicle has 3 02 sensors?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I understand it:

bank 1 sensor 1 is the 02 sensor on the rear manifold?
bank 2 sensor refers to the sensor on the side of the catalytic converter?
where is the other one if there are 3 of them?

Could anyone provide photos or diagrams showing where they are?

I have the haynes manual but it only references an upstream and downstream sensors.

Thanks.

Hi Master Tech,

Thanks for the reply. Just a quick question on the tool I need. Is there a particular size o2 sensor socket for this particular o2/vehicle?

Could click on the link below and tell me if this would work?

Thanks again.

You can cut off the wire at the o2 sensor and use a 7/8 deep socket or box end wrench. Or a o2 sensor socket tool. Also 7/8 is the same as 22mm.
