Default tires out of round

I have had 4 out of round tires all the same lot number installed on the front of my van, the first two one lost a strip of tread on one 4x6 inches the other split, 1000 kilometers later. When I had them replaced they installed 2 of the same lot number that also turned out to be out of round and the tire shop said they could not be balanced correctly because of this,my dealership called them liars and said that they balanced them by eye. As a result of the vibration my cv joint shaft bent. The dealer denies they may have been negligent. Can tires be balanced by eye. Can defective out of round tires cause the shaft to bend?

Tires were balanced by eye a long time ago but these days most if not all tire shops have machines for more accurate balance. To bend your CV joint the van would of been vibrating as if you were constantly rolling over speed bumps the whole time. It's possible the shaft was bent because of the tires and vibration but it's remote. Sounds like the dealer is trying to shift blame in case your van still falls under warranty. At least that is what it sounds like to me.
