Default Half Shaft Problems?

I have a 97 GC. Around March I replaced the hub/bearing and half shaft on the pass side. The hub/bearing was from a bone yard and the axel was new. About a week ago I started to hear some noise from the front, on the pass. side. It was some clicking along with some other noises. I thought it was my hub since it came from a bone yard. Replaced it, and still have the noise. This noise will be a clicking sound or grinding sound that only happens when I let up on the gas. Might it be the half shaft? I have not noticed the commom clicking when you turn.

Could be the axle or a anti rattle clip, on the front brakes.

What problems might I have if AutoZone sold me the wrong part?

May not fit. Too short, or a defective part.
