My exwife now has a 97 lxi Town and country with a 3.8 liter engine a couple of weeks ago she hit a piece of wood in the road my ex father-in-law and thier nightbor determined it was the fuel pump replaced it and the filter in addition now it is really hard to start in the morning or after the car has bee sitting a while she says she has to crank it a bunch before it will finally start at first I thought it might be losing prime and bleeding off the pressure but now I'm not so sure If it wasn't for the kids I could care less but since it does any suggestions or ideas? Is there a check valve that they missed?
