My wife has a 2005 Caravan with the optional DVD system. My daughter pushed a penny intoi the DVD slot, and did not tell us. Then we slipped a DVD in and it played for awhile then, stop playing and started making noice. That is when my daughter decided to tell me. I've taken home VHS systems apart before to get out tapes and such, but what are my options with this situation.??

You will need to remove the device (it's not hard at all) and shake that thing head down. If the penny does not come out, you will need to open the device itself (only a few screws).
To remove the DVD player, you have to completely pull out the cup holder by pressing the retaining tab. Once that is done, you will see 2 screws, remove them. Gently pull the bezel out and that's it, you will figure the rest of the procedure.
