Default headlight issue - any help?

when key is turned over and power is initiated/engine is running, the driver side headlight is illuminated

same scenario, but headlights are switched on, passenger side is illuminated and driver side will go out.

sometimes they will both stay illuminated, but only around 5% of the time.
any ideas?
both headlights have been replaced with new bulbs and all other lighting is working properly (turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, dashboard, etc)

thanks in advance.

This issue has been posted in the past so you might want to search for the other threads. I am having the same issue and apparently it stems from a bad connection at the PDC Power Distribution Center under the hood. Typically if you pull the IOD fuse for 30 minutes it resets the control modules and will fix it, but it is temporary.

The real fix appears to be replacing the PDC itself. That's what I plan to do next on mine. The FCM Front Control Module is bolted to the front of the PDC and does seem to have some effect on the issue if unbolted and cleaned. Again, temporary. You might want to get with your local dealer and get a price on replacing the PDC. I intend to do the work myself, but I have electrical experience. If you don't then I would not recommend a DIY repair. Good luck...
