I have noise coming from the timing chain area of the engine. Not chain slap but rather a low buzzing noise that increases with engine RPM. Does any one know if this engine has a free-wheeling valve train?

I believe it is an non interference engine.
Sounds like a bad idler pulley.
Remove the serpentine belt and see if the noise remains
