I have an 05 Caravan with a 3.3 engine and I had the axle shafts replace with 57K because they clunked. Now the seals leak even though the seals have been replaced twice since. First I was told a vent was plugged up. Then they redid both shafts and new seals and it still leaks. I had no leaks before they fixed the clucking !! What could it be? Thanks

The axle shafts have snap rings on the end of shafts, are push in all the way and locked? Thats one way it would leak, another way is the diff bearings are so bad, that you are cutting the seals. Or you have the wrong drive axles.

Thanks I will check with the shop where the van is at on Monday. Do you think the bearings are bad with only 55K miles on it? I need to get this fixed right. It has been in the shop on and off for 13 days Thanks again.
