Default sway bar bumping noise

I was looking for information on repairing a bumping noise under the front drivers side. In another thread it was mentioned it could be a sway bar linkage. Please point me in the right direction!

All the best,

I'm not sure what kind of info you're looking for, but the sway bar links and bushings are a common problem. The links are behind each wheel and look like a small straight bar (approx 10 - 12" long) mounted vertically. The bushings are further under the vehicle and little harder to describe, but are more likely to be the main cause of your noise. You may get some one to rock the vehicle while you look for your noise to make sure exactly the problem.

The Caravan is well known for the sway bar bushings ( not the links ) wearing prematurely and replacement is fairly easy for the slightly mechanically inclined and inexpensive as well. The clunking is usually heard over quick bumps or 'washboard' roads and can sound like worn front struts but no worries, have the sway bar bushing replaced and you should be all set.
