I really need to know the location of the solenoid pack, which I'm guessing is the shift solenoid, unless it's a pressure control solenoid...I don't know.
I've also been told it could be the transmission control unit (TCU), which I need to know if it is separate from the engine control unit (ECU), or if they are all-in-one, in my powertrain control module (PCM).
I have 2 of these cars, always done all the work on them no problem, but this idunno. Please help!!

You don't have a NGC controller. You do have a PCM and a TCM. You'll need to pull codes out of the tcm and post. There could many reason why the trans is locked up, but without codes its a little tough.

Yup you have a transmission control module and Regular ECU. and im thinking youre talking about the solenoid pack on the front of the tranny under the "noise deadening box".

Actually I think that is the TCM .. Drivers side front fender.
The TCM is on the passenger side fender well, between the washer solvent bottle and the power steering resevoir. The solenoid pack is mounted on the front of the transmissionbeneath a black plastic cover with sound deadening material underneath it.
It is pretty rare for the TCM to be the problem. Though you might have some problems with the solenoid pack, the number of codes you have and the specific codes that exist lead me to believe you probably have some internal mechanical failures in the transmission as well. They may or may not have been contributed to by a defective solenoid pack, but the following codes tend to indicate mechanical failure:
P0733 Gear 3 Incorrect ratio
P0732 Gear 2 Incorrect ratio
P0731 Gear 1 Incorrect ratio
P1784 Transmission Mechanical Failure - First And Reverse
P0736 Reverse incorrect gear ratio
P1787 2-1 Downshift Error
If you are not real comfortable with fixing internal transmission concerns, I would suggest taking the vehicle to a reputable shop in your area to have it looked at more closely. Intenral transmission problems on these vehicles is not uncommon. The A604 transmission, while great in many respects, has had it's share of issues.
