Default 06 G.C. ABS light on and trac control off?

my ABS light is now on and the traction control is showing constantly off... I can see how these 2 are related... any ideas on this problem?

...by the way, I did check the fuses and all look ok,..also did the quick ignition on-off check for CEL codes, and there are none..

guess it's going in to the dealer on April 6... just bought the thing off thier lot 3 months ago, they said they put new brakes on it, when they did 'certified' inspection before I bought it...AND have had a rear wheel bearing replaced already...

I had that problem with my '05 Town & Country. Dealer had to replace one of the front wheel sensors that controls both ABS and TCS. I think it was less than $200; I paid $100 deductible on my extended warranty.

Ok Thanx!.....but the mystery deepens...

I mentioned I checked the fuses... I had actually removed the couple that said ABS, to look closer at them... then put them back... I didn't actually go out and start it up,.. well i went out and started it and now all is normal... don't know, maybe a bad connection or pulling out the fuses dropped power to something that reset the system (?)

.. but I will see if it comes back.

just an update...maybe help someone...

these lights acme back on...then off, then on, then off....

seems to be random... one day it will happen on and off with one trip out shopping...then maybe not for a day or 2...

thinkin maybe it is the sensor... getting some illustrations/blow ups pictures froma a friend who is an automotive engineer.... maybe I can see if I can replace one or both myself...

sometimes the sensor cable can come loose or corroded. If it is loose, just putting it back into place can fix the problem.

Let us know what you find out.

still haven't got the drawings from my friend... anyone know where these sensors are located so can take a peek at the wiring?

...or are they hard to get to, like removing the wheels and/or more to get to them?
