Default Headlights on, in ACC mode

Can anyone explain this?

When I go into Accessory mode to listen to the radio with the engine off...my daytime running lights come on....

Can I stop this?

Why is this happening, I've never seen this in any other vehicles before.

Please help

Thanks

It's just the way it's set up. I had to contend with this all last summer at the bloody drive-in. If you want to shut off the day timers while having the key turned to acc, you need to set the parking brake.

Fantastic....thank you so much!

I was concerned for beach/camping trips, listening to tunes would drain the batt way faster with the DRL's on.

I'm happy there's an easy solution.

Thanks again!!! very much appreciated!

yeah, I'm not sure any manufacturers put this info into the user manual, because when you go to the drive in, you see alot of cars with drls on.
