Default 2005 Caravan issues

I'm considering buying a 2005 caravan with 3.3 litre. My last Caravan was a 1999.

I heard a lot of complaints about transmission failures when I had the 1999 and finally my transmission died too so I got rid of it. Apart from that it served me pretty well.

Before I decide on the 2005 I'd like to know if there are any known or common issues that I should be aware of first. For example, are the transmissions more reliable that the 1999's?

Anybody have any comments or experience?

Thanks.

They still use the same junk transmission for 2005.

Same model of transmission but there have been internal parts improvements.
They are more reliable now

Trans is reliable. Don't worry about it.
