Default 2005 Cravan engine cuts out

I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan. While driving, the engine tends to cut out but not durring acceleration. The engine light is also on now. Any suggestions.

It is totally stock. I did the key on-off several times and P0404 code came up on the odometer.

I checked for the code online and it indicated the EGR value problems. Took it to the garage, had valve changed and is now perfect. The garage charged $40.00 with their handheld unit to diagnose the problem that I had already told them what it was. Those code readers sure do pay for themselves.

I just had this code pop up also P0404. I'll be changing the EGR this weekend, as the engine is running rough now. Good to see you got it fixed.
