94 Dodge Caravan Wont Start

Hi, Please forgive me if there is a thread that answers this.
Also I am a woman and i dont know much lol. And i dont have much help to rely on.
Here is my problem, I went out of my van 4 weeks ago and the van would only crank and run a few seconds at a low rate.
I changed the plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and fuel pump relay.
The fuel pump does make a noise when key is turned.
Under the hood, gas comes out of the( "pressure valve"?).
When starter fluid is sprayed onto the filter the van will run stronger for a little longer and then turn off.
I have called several mechanics and have been told the fuel pump is working if i hear the noise. I cant afford a tow to get it fixed. But i do have the fuel pump incase i have to replace. But i dont know how to drop the gas tank safely.
So if anyone here can tell me what else to try please let me know. Or if you think is is really the fuel pump gone bad. Something is keeping it from getting gas.
If you need more info on something that may be important, i will do the best i can to let you know.

please STOP using starting fluid!!!
Recomend for a fuel substitute for testing you use carb or brake clean.
which engine ? I can look some links up for you..

some easy testing-
seams you are handy as you changed those listed parts.

Is the check engine light on?

You know where the fuel pressure test port is -what you call press valve-
get a pressure gauge on there record pressure and post...The gauge is available as a loaner or rental tool at select parts stores.

Can you use a test light or voltmeter?....as another possability iinjectors not pulsing ... coil is working so injectors are powered* Lets look at pressure first...

* need to know eng size to get you wiring colors to check

Also i read somewhere there is a fuel pump reset button on the passengers side near the floor to try, but i didnt see one. ( was thinking it might help).

That is my rhectorical rambling....
You mentioned it will "run" on the sprayed "starting" fluid therefore the ign coil is powered and its the same circuit as the injectors... thats good

The link is auto zone parts .....they have repair manuals online I hope I sent you the correct place...select and click correct engine look around the page and select repair manual .....should get some information to help you to work this.

FIRST lets get the fuel pressure test done that will guide us ...some online -autozone manual- reading tonight for you

If you are able to spray carb cleaner into the throttle and it runs, The fuel pump is most likey the cause. The fuel pump motor could be running, but you are not getting a volume from the pump. The pump can be replace without removing the tank. The gas tank would need to be low on fuel and you will need a lift to raise the van.
