I have a 97 grand caravan 3.0 3spd trans, my van stalls from time to time also i get a po300 code. I have changed the tps, iac, crankshaft sensor, coolant sensor,vss,cap,rotor,wires,pvc,thermostat,o2 (both of them),fuel pump and filter, fuel pump relay, and asd relay..... I am at a loss the van runs like a champ then out of left feild it starts to stumble and then it dies out. I try to start it and it will run for a few seconds and dies. Or it will start and idle fine but i put it into gear and it will die out. If i get it started and i punch it a few times it seems like the problem will go away most of the time. Would a semi blocked cat do this? Any sugestion would be great.
Thanks
Bill

the ONLY code is p0300?
no remote starter or aftermarket alarm?
can do a simple vacuum ck for a bad cat ..... but you should ALWAYS have the issue not intermittant. Can you add anything about the stalling
Only happens at stops- slowing down...radio/accesories also go dead...confirm a 3sp....no OD?
Hi Bill
A semi blocked cat would give you lack of power, and you would noticed that. Is the van stalling went you are coming to a stop or stalling from a stop? Also are you hearing grinding noise when starting. That could be a flex plate cracked and also cause a multi-misfire(P0300). Leonard
