Default '06 Town & Country (Caravan) - Add Factory Uconnect?

Hey all,

My wife an I just bought a used (Single Owner) 2006 Chrysler Town & Country Limited Caravan. I know this is a dodge forum but since they are basically the same I thought I might be able to get my answers here with out the need to register on another forum.

Anyway, it is FULLY loaded, it has every feature available EXCEPT Uconnect! I looked at Mopar's websight and it looks like the Uconnect kit they offer is a cheap-o external speaker and stick-on button controlls.

I want to know what it would take, if it's even possible to add FACTORY Uconnect to my minivan?

Thanks for the help,

-ThaChad

well you would need to have a Uconnect ready stereo, mirror ,harness and module, which if you need all those parts would cost about 1000-1200 then labour to put it inprobably about 4 hours. i'd just stick to my speaker phone on my cell if i were you. hope that answered your question.

I dont know what it would cost, But i rarely used my u connect. I actually had to unhook it so i could hook up a dvd system through the factory stereo. I had an adapter toadd auxiliary input to the stereo and it plugged in where the u connect plugged in, so mines not evenhooked up. Anyone know of a splitter to plug both in.
