Hi everyone. I have a 2005 Grand with 70000 km on it.
I just checked and go the above code.
Issues. The engine has a pinging sound at low rpm's and low speed.
I had the plugs out a couple weeks ago and the number 2 plug didn't look good at all. All gummed up. Almost like it is'nt getting a good spark. What should I be getting for resistance on the coils?
Thanks

The P0003 code is the same as P0201 thru P0206 for fuel injectors. You could have a wire grounded on one of the injectors. There is also a TSB 18-026-06 for pinging, Flash up date.

Thanks for replying. Well if it is an injector issue then that would explain why cylinder two plug looked like crap. So what you are suggesting is that I check and see if the injector wiring has crapped out.
Inspect the injector harness for any cuts or shorting to the manifold. If they look good, then switch that injector with another cylinder.
