hey there just wondering if anyone has any ideas, my 99 caravan with a 3L is gutless, was running fine one second then it takes me 2 minutes just to get to 40km/h, thought that the exhaust was plugged but its not, i've changed the fuel filter, put a new dist. cap & rotor and checked wires and plugs, i'm startting to feel stumped. oh and this symptom comes and goes every couple of weeks????

Is the distributor secured properly? any corroded wires inside the distributor cap?like under the rotor??? the camshaft sensor is plugged right on it might be corroded,loose...............
thank you for the feedback, there is no check engine light on and no stored codes. had the chrysler scan tool on it and everything seemed to be in spec. i will have a look at the map sensor wiring connection. i've replaced fuel filter, serviced the throttle body, and got an injection flush, running out of money and patience.
If you have access to the DRB3, Maybe you can someone hook up the co-pilot and drive it until it acts up and record it. Then you could have it down loaded to the PC and look at whats dropping off.
