Default 98 3.0 sounds like a deisel

I just changed the timing belt. Got everything back together and it worked fine for three days. On the fourth day it started to sound like adeisel. Could it be that the timing belt slipped? What could it be? The left bank is shaking when the motor is on. It kind of sounds like the rotor is hitting the distributor but it isn't. just changed them. Also code 54 showed up. I changed the plug to the distributor. Code 11 showed up also but now its gone.

Timing might not be dead on.....is the distributor secured properly? and did you look at the timing to fine tune it with a timing light?

It has a fixed distributor. I think I'll just take it apart again. Thanks.

Took it apart and it was the timing belt. It was slack sop i guess it jumped. Put it back together now it runs fine.
