Angry a/c compressor plug no electric ?????????

2002 dodge caravan se a/c compressor will not kick in r134 level fine unpluged connector from compressor tested for power no power going to plug need answer on what to look for ???????????

Its a possibility.....but id doubt it if the system is full and was recently serviced.......

Id look for a blown fuse or bad a/c relay first

Question 02 caravan no power to a/c compressor

02 caravan 3.3 a/c compressor not kicking in r134 level good, a/c compressor relay good, a/c fuse good , unpluged connector from a/c unit tested plug with volt meter not getting power from plug to compressor this has got me pickled need help

check engine light on? some issues may prevent a/c engage

post the refridgerant pressure.. lo or hi readings would prevent ac -

Curious as to what the problem was?

at first you said no power going to plug, and then later you said, no power going from plug to compressor.

My '98 had this problem. there was power at the plug going into the compressor, so they said the clutch was faulty.

At over $800 and 355,000 on the van I did not fix it.

sometimes it will kick in the clutch, but usually only if it cooler weather.

What is the low pressure side of the A/C system? What does your scanner show for A/C request? What does the scanner show for A/C pressure? Have you verified that there is power at the relay? have you tried to by-pass the relay? Have you followed the service proceedure for this problem as listed in the factory service manual?
