Smile PCM Replacement

Hi everyone.

Just found out that my PCM went. I'm thinking of getting a used PCM from the wreckers and replacing the one that went. Is there a way to have it relearn without going to the dealer. My van is basically the base SE model 3.3L, with no alarm and ABS.

Here's the history.

Error code P204. Swapped the plugs. Swapped the injectors and replaced the harness going to the injectors. Still getting P204. My conclusion to this is the PCM.

Thanks

I had the same problem on a 2001 caravan. found on the injector wiring harness over the exhaust pipe the wires were melted inside the cover. about 6 inches or so from where it plugs into the main harness the wiring make a 180 degree turn. the coating was melted and the wire was exsposed causing number 4 injecter to spray gas for too long. the outside covering look fine but the wires were melted. fix was to peal the exsposed wires apart and rewrap each one of them real good. hope this can help, i have alot more gray hair over this problem. i seen that you said you replace the harness but did not know if it was new or used one .GOOD LUCK let me know if this helped THANK YOU
