2003 grand caravan where is the crank sensor

Default 2003 grand caravan where is the crank sensor

cannot locate crank sensor have looked every place someone has recomened still can not find it. have located cam sensor but not crank sensor.not on front of engine,not behind or above starter,not on top of transaxle please someone help if you can.

it's in the same spot as they've been since 1990 in the bellhousing above the differential

checked bell housing can not find can you be more specific

Unless you have a 2.4L, then it will be below the starter.

looked even pulled starter out not there,does the 3.8 use a cam sensor only have tore this van apart and i know its right in front of me looking for some help from dodge fans have been a ase master tech for gm over 30 years this ones got me

it's in the bellhousing right above the differential. do you know what a bellhousing or differential is? there's a mount on the top of the differential that attaches to the firewall

funny ask a simple question always a smart *** in the crowd dont need your help you are obviously to smart for me look forward to seeing you ask for help on gm forum will reply same back to you do you even now what a grand caravan looks like 4 other people seem to disagree with you have a nice day

I don't know your level of knowledge. i'm not being smart i'm exactly answering your question as to exactly where the crank sensor is. IDK you that's why I asked if you knew what a bellhousing or differential is.

yalls got some hurt feelings seems the man is rite on wher that sencer is pretty easy to see on the top back of the bellhousin rite above the diff section its black and has 3 wires to it the wires go over the trans

no hurt feelings just been doing this for over 30 years and this one has just got me thanks for the info will go look again today with a clear head know i am looking right at it thats what is so fustrating again thanks dak and circumventor and anyone else who has tried to help one tired old wrench
