Default 2006 Transmission Problem

2006
65K miles
Noticed a noise/light grinding a few days ago in the 15-30mph range, especially going up hill. No problems at the higher speeds.
Trans fluid level is OK.
Any input is well appreciated !

Thanx,
Mike from Mass.

Could be a overdrive reaction plate that could be cracked or a planetary starting to come apart. Thats if you have the 41TE trans, 61TE have had a problem with the number 5 thrust bearing. From the 15-30 mph range.

an 06 aint gonna have a 6speed. od reaction plate cracked aint never heard of that one and od aint gonna come on at 15-30mph anyway. a light grinding noise is impossible to figure out on the internet gotta hear that one could even be something totally unrelated to trans all together!

This forum is for members to share information on problems that may help them. Nobody is saying this is the problem and here is the fix. The reason you may not heard of any of these problems is because you haven't been doing dodge transmission for 35 years. That right you can't hear the grinding sound on the internet, but with what you know could help others. And with all the mods that everyone is doing, how you know Mike didn't drop a 4.0L and 62TE into their 06 minivan. Mike have the brakes checked and drive axles look at too.Or you can send a pm. And circumventor start thinking of your self as avg joe or a customer who is having problems with they cars/trucks, not as tech who knows everything about automobiles. Because nobody does.
