p0700 p0733 caused by driving habits?

p0700 p0733 caused by driving habits?
First time to post here.
I have a 2007 Grand Caravan with 133k ext van. Lately when I drive the van the mil comes on with error codes p0700 and p0733. When this happens the van shifts from 2nd shift to neutral and the rpm's shoot up and the mil comes on. I am a conservative easy on the gas and brakes kind of driver.
My wife is a heavy on the pedal and brakes kind of driver. She drives the
van for a week and the mil goes out as do the error codes.
I'm thinking the cause of this is our different driving habits?
Does this sound plausible?
