Default Horn and Cruise Control not working

anyone have any idea as to why it's not working? one day out of the blue it just stopped working. can someone give me ideas to fix it because i really need to get these fixed ASAP

forgot to note that it's a 96 Dodge Grand Caravan SE 3.3L

The common element would be the clockspring. Not saying that's the only answer but is the one that first comes to mind.

now is that something that's connected to the airbag as well? because my airbag light went off, and now it's on, the horn and cruise control just doesn't work period.

how do i fix that clockspring?

It is behind the steering wheel. It must be removed to access it. It connects the electrical connections to the steering wheel so that the buttons work.

Default Clock Spring

Check with the dealer, your '96 was part of the recall on clock springs.

If you send me a pm with the last 9 of your vin and mileage, I can ck if your van has any recalls on it, Meanning the clockspring recall.

i'm taking my car in on Tues. to get it changed, but the clockspring was changed in 2003 by the previous owner. if i didn't say 'lifetime warrenty' she probably would have just hung up on me or charged me for the change. eh, we'll see how it goes.
