[3rd Gen : 96-00]: Engine will not start

Engine will not start
In late March I posted a query about our 2000 Grand Caravan not having power. Mr Keaton suggested checking the inline fuses, etc. My husband did check all fuses . Finally, the engine started numerous times. FAST FORWARD: He took it down off the stands and it will not attempt to start. When he puts the key in the ignition switch and opens the driver's door there is no alarm chime. The OBDC 2 does not show any stored code errors. When the key is in the Start position it sounds like the starter tries to engage then relay chatters.
Any suggestions to get the van to start?
Thanks, Bettye

Has he checked the battery? Make sure the connections are clean and tight. Using a multimeter check the voltage at the battery posts. If it's below 12.2 volts charge the battery or replace it. No meter? Using jumper cables jump start it with another car. If it starts charge or replace the battery.
