Default 99 Caravan, Problem With Radiator Fan

There are actually 2 radiator fans in this Caravan.

Today, out of nowhere, the car started to overheat. The temp is usually smack in the middle of the gauge or lower, but today is started quickly climbing to the top. I let it rest awhile, then turned it back on and realized neither radiator fan was working.

I checked the fuse and it looked old and beaten, so I changed it. As soon as I did, one of the fans started working and the car stopped overheating. However, the other one won't budge. The "service engine soon" light came on and is staying on.

What can I do to get the other fan working?

Try spinning the fans by hand. If they bind change them before you fry that $75 cooling fan relay.

Check your local junkyard for fans.
