Default Please help

I have a 2009 Grand Caravan all i have are two questions.

1. How do I remove the overhead console to change the map lights?
2. When I open my doors both the map lights and the dome lights come on. Is there a way to make it where the map lights stay off and just the dome lights come on?

Thanks ANY help WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

REMOVAL

Overhead console

map lamps are led and serviced as an assembly

C-4755 - Trim Stick

Originally Shipped In Kit Number(s) 9299, 9299CC, 9299CC, 9300A-CAN.

1.Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2.Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips at the front edge of the overhead console (1).
3.Once the front edge is released use your fingertips to grasp the sides of the overhead console (2) and pull straight down evenly to disengage the remaining two retaining clips from the mounting bracket.

4.Lower the overhead console far enough to access the wire harness connectors.
5.If equipped, disconnect the courtesy lamps (2), Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamp (3), infrared temperature sensor (4) and power sliding door/liftgate switch (1) electrical connectors.
6.Remove the overhead console assembly from the vehicle.

The answer to the second question is no, the way they work is the way they work, they cannot be reconfigured

The front reading lamps that are incorporated into the overhead console have LED illumination and the bulbs are not serviced separately. Should the lamp pod require replacement, the overhead console must be removed.(Refer to 08 - Electrical/Overhead Console - Removal) .
1.Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.2.Disconnect the lamp unit electrical connectors (1) from the main harness.

3.Insert trim stick or equivalent at point (1) and flex the housing to remove the light pod from the unit
