My cluster only has Fuel, Speed, and temp, can a tach model cluster be swapped in? 03 Caravan SXT

 

I did the swap but ran into afew things, First the cluster came out a 01 model (Mfg date 12/00) It has every option you could get and it also was a 3.3L First i can't locate the eyebrow connector, where would that be hidden in the dash? second i got afew idiot lights, ABS, Brake, and trac control, and the speedo standing still is at 11mph but other wise the speedo, tach, temp, and fuel gauge is working....

I am sure with mine being a 03 SXT Caravan it doesn't have ABS, and Trac control, besides removing the clear and putting tape over the ABS light what about the others? The Trac control light doesn't really bother me. just i would prefer a working brake light to know if any problems pop up between check ups.

 

Only error codes the cluster gives when holding the reset is of course the 100.1 ABS communication failure and also the 100.2 BCM communication failure.... During testing the Speedo is reading 11mph as Zero, I noticed on the old non tach version zero is where 11mph is located on the tach version....

 

I figure the Cluster was bad because while i was in Savannah today i picked up a second cluster and it seems to work fine besides the idiot lights (ABS, Brake)


I still can't located the connector for the eyebrow.... I seen the connectors for everything else but that... Did they tape it up somewhere?

 

I figure i will drive like it is for now until i can find a 05 model with a tach and swap it in so then i won't have to worry about that eyebrow.....
