2010 grand caravan se a\c dye oil ???
I'm new to this site and have made some search concerning my problem without vain.
My Grand Caravan SE 3.3 liters with tri-zone A/C and heating.
Last week I tried my A/C and no cool air. I open the high input valve and no gas came out. No visible area where is the leak. As per my dealer apparently would have the chance to be in the back. I open the back area and no visible leak. Also under all joints and pipe seam OK.
I have look in my service manual and they say that I have to used ( ND-8 PAG R134a ). I google these speck and couldn't found nothing.
I need (DYE oil ) compatible with ND-8 PAG R134a and also would like to know how to check what is left in the system .
I would appreciate your help.
Thank you
Note: Sorry for my english I'm french

a/c dye
most reputable parts shops will carry a/c recharge kits.
I.E NAPA, Autozone, etc.
You might need a blacklight to see the dye though ---
Check the rear zone lines behind the passenger rear tire, above the brake lines. Just ahead of the factory union. Very small corrosion, but enough to leak.
Repaired a line there on a 2010, had been a conversion to a wheelchair access van.
Used compression unions and a length of 3/8 heavy aluminum tube.
then evacuate the system for about an hour to remove any moisture that will have entered the system and recharge the system.
