My 1998 grand caravan is giving me trouble with the front passenger window. The motor seems to run but it only has enough oomph to raise the window a couple of inches. Then it could be awhile before there is enough power again to make the window move a bit more. I have a 2003 grand caravan also and the same side window motor went out and didn't run at all. I went on to Utube and followed the video and replaced the motor. That window works fine now. The only difference is that the 2003 window motor went out completely at once and the 1998 motor seems to still work some but not reliable enough to count on regularly. Do you think this is a motor problem or something else? The motors along with the mechanism are not inexpensive so I don't want to replace it if something else is faulty. Thanks for any help, you guys rock!!!!

Hi Janice. Have you lubed up the window tracks yet? Might try that first.
