The speedometer does nothing. Fuel gauge reads 1/4 tank regardless of what's in the tank. Both symptoms occurred at the same time.

My first thought was the cluster, but here's the rub:

When connected to the PCM with my scan tool, the vehicle speed is 0 while driving. Also the fuel voltage is consistent with 1/4 tank.

I have run the instrument cluster calibration and it worked fine. The vehicle speed seems to come from the pcm over the bus (3spd with no TCM). Fuel level is reported by the BCM.

The above info seems to point in different directions. So either I don't understand how this system works or I have multiple failures.

Anyone else have an idea?
