2013 Caravan O2 sensor location?
Good afternoon folks,Been a lurker for a little bit but figured I would become a member. I have a 2013 Caravan and after doing a sea foam treatment - engine light went on. My friend hooked it up and it said it was due to the O2 sensor. My van has 10700 miles - can someone help me where the sensor is located and how difficult is it to replace it? I am very modest mechanic but would like to try doing this myself. Any advice or help would be MUCH appreciated!

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe on your 3.6 or 4.0 engine (which is it) you have at least 2 and as many as 4 O2 sensors. On top of that it may not be a sensor: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0420
Apples and oranges but some years ago a P0420 popped up on my daughters Accord. I reset it and haven't seen it since.
Curious. Why the Seafoam treatment?

Thanks for the reply C41!
It's a 3.6 engine and will now have to think a little more on the info you gave me. I looked at the exhaust manifold and around the CC but didn't see any obvious leaks or cracks. It really only happened after the seafoam so somehow think it's the culprit.
I did the treatment as it was a recommendation to do by my mechanic after a tune up.
Again, do appreciate the info.

I've worked on many cars over the years and used an engine cleaner once. My 96GC 3.8 ltr with 214k miles has never seen a drop of any additive or cleaner in it's 20 year life and it runs like a top as it always has even using the cheapest gas in town.
Found this drawing depicting O2 sensor locations on a 3.6 ltr. If it's correct it looks like if you find the catalytic converters (2) you've found the sensors (4). May just have to remove and clean them. Maybe just reset the code and see if it comes back. Maybe just keep driving and let it clear on it's own. It's a shame you have to deal with this. http://engine-codes.com/qa/29441/whe...nd-caravane-v6
