Default Hard to select gear after long ride (45 mins)

Hi,

I have a grand caravan 2009 with 3.3l. After a long ride, I noticed in the last few weeks the transmission is hard to pass from park to drive and back to park or reverse. I feel resistance on the shift harm. When I use it for small ride in town I do not have any problem.

The oil level is good.

p.s. How can I known if transmission go too hot?

Thanks

Hi, I'm working on that today.

Yesterday I checked more closely and after a short 30 minute ride. I opened the hood and it was really hot in there. I touched the radiator hose and it was really too hot. The fan is not working. So I start here today. Any advise will be welcome.

thanks

The temperature sensor is change and now the fan run. Good news.

I test few days and give feed back if that solve the problem with the resistance feel on the shift arm when selecting gear on long ride.
