Strange noise at full stop
hey guys and gals, My name is tyler and I'm hoping you could help me diagnose an issue with my wife's 2012 Grand caravan. So after she told me something was making noise I drove it and noticed that when I come to a complete stop, SOMETIMES (not everytime) the car will make a weird sloshing/metal grinding sound. I checked the brakes and everything seems ok there and they were just replaced 2 months ago (pads, rotors, and fluid). Brake fluid level is fine. When I checked everything out under the car I noticed some grease on the CV axle (driver side) where the noise was coming from. I'm wondering if that is the problem. I've never heard this noise come from a car before. Attached are 2 photos of the CV axle.
I'm also not familiar with this vehicle because I work mostly on Mini Coopers. All help is greatly appreciated! Hope I get this solved! Thanks, Tyler
