gas leak on 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan

Default gas leak on 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan

Hey,
New member here! I have a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan that is leaking alot of gas when I have more than a quarter of a tank of gas but only when it is extremely cold outside, like below freezing, and only when it is running. If I shut it off, it stops. When the temp is 40 degrees or warmer, I have no problem. Any ideas?

Front/back of the van? If its the back is it seeping from the front, middle or back of the tank?

Thank you for your response! It seems to be coming from the middle area of the tank. I lost almost a half of a tank of gas within a twenty minute period of time, but, again, only when the vehicle is running and it is freezing cold outside.

Hello Cougar41,
It seems to be coming from the middle area of the gas tank. It lost almost a hafl tank of gas in a 20 minute period of time. This is only when it is freezing cold outside and only when the motor is running. As soon as I shut it off, it stops. and it literally pours out until it gets to about a quarter tank then it is fine.
