Hello, I am having a problem with the parking brake on my 2010 Dodge Caravan.


Here is the background, a while ago I took my van in and had the dealer adjust the parking brake while doing another service, when I got the van back the parking brake was crazy hard to press down and still doesn't hold the van. Tired of paying the dealer to do nothing so I am looking for help, keep in mind this is about a year since this happened.


I inspected the rear brakes an noticed the pads still look new and the regular brakes work but probably not very hard. The parking brakes appear to be missing the return spring so I will get new ones tomorrow and install. Any ideas on why the pedal is so crazy hard and how they adjusted this? I need to back it off so we can actually use it. Thanks!
