Gmornin Dodge Friends,

This morning I was on the way to work, and realized that the heat was not to hot.... turned out the blower wasnt even on! It only works now on the highest setting! Can anyone shed some light on what causes this and what needs to be switched out to fix this? I seen somewehre on the net a brief mention of a resister... any ideas?

Probably just what the problem is, a bad blower motor resistor. Not too expensive and easy to replace

 

I just changed that out on my wife's 1996 Caravan. That resistor is located at the far top left of the firewall when you're faceing the engine. Usually, water gets up in there and makes the resistor rust through. Get a new resistor and electrical putty to prevent this from going bad.
