Default 97 Caravan 3.8 Starter Location

I need to rebuild the starter on my 97 Gran Caravan 3.8 litre. Can someone tell me where the starter is located? I took a few glances underneath and didn't see it. Also, any tips on removing and reinstalling would be appreciated. I've heard that there may be a possiblity of replacing the contacts with the starter still on the vehicle. Does this sound feasible? Thanks for any help.

It's in the front of the engine, on the bottom. You're going to need elfin fingers to get it out. It's really small, about the size of a can of peas. That may be why you can't find it.
