stripped hex bolt help

RE: stripped hex bolt help
Im not sure what you mean by stripped the hex bolt with a torx socket? Torx is a male tool, you would have been using a "female" socket? Do you mean a 12pt socket vs. 6pt socket?
Either way, I havent been doing this stuff long enough to have picked up any techniques, but I would square it off with a dremel and use an open ended wrench to loosen it.

RE: stripped hex bolt help
If there is enough room around the bolt, you can clamp a pair of vise grip pliers to it and
try to wiggle it loose. If the head of the bolt is rounded off too much to clamp on a pair,
You can create a large bead of metal on top of the bolt head with an arc welder, and then
use the pliers on the bead to try to break the bolt loose.
