Default transmission cooler question

Hi all, I own a 2000 dodge caravan with the 3.0 liter engine. I bought a ~1500 lb pop-up camper this year and to ease the burden on the tranny, I bought an aftermarket transmission oil cooler. When I crawled under the vehicle this morning to start the installation of the tranny cooler, I spotted what looks to be a small cooler already in place, mounted in front of the radiator, near the top right corner. which is connected to the transmission oil lines. Does anyone know if this is a standard tranny cooler or an optional item (as far as I know this vehicle didn't have a towing package option, since the van came w/o hitch). Also, having this cooler already in place, would the aftermarket one that I bought be necessary or of any help? Thanks in advance for your replies! TW

Default RE: transmission cooler question

That cooler came on all of those vans. It should be okay.
