Default ODB code P1782 on 1999 T&C Van

The check engine light came on my wife's van. I check the codes and it was showing a P1782 code. I couldn't find this code in the book. Does anyone know if this is a transmission related code? It has 130K mile on it now. The Transmission was rebuilt at about 80K . I cleared the code and took it for a ride and it seemed fine.
Thanks for any help!

The code is P1782 2-4 pressure switch sense circuit. Basically means that the transmission solenoid pack needs to be replaced. Not a hard job.

Thank you!
Any estimate on what a transmission shop would charge to replace the part?

its a 1 bolt and 1 wire harness clip that takes about 5- 10 minutes right on the front of the tranny. I'd shop the part and do it yourself. When i did one on my 91GC 5 years ago , the part cost about $120.00. Check ROCKAUTO for a price(they might have it) . I'd recommend doing a tranny service at the same time (filter/fluid change which you can do yourself too). Usual reason for the solenoid pack to fail is fine metal particles plugging micro-screens in the pack. Alot of times they will work fine for a while after the vehicle has been turned off and sat for a while. But when they rapidly shut down and give you the code, it's time to change it.

It is on your tranny, you have the A604, he has the 41TE, (essentially the same) there are no sensors on the front by the pan like your tranny. His solenoid pack (which you also have) has three bolts and one connector.

Just order a solenoid pack, you have a 4 speed 41TE transmission. There is only one pack for 1988 to 2006.
