Welcome to DF.

First of all, this is the wrong section for this type of question.

Second of all, what kind of van is it? Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler? Model year? Motor? Transmission?

What do you mean by "you have put so many things on it"? What have you replaced?

I'll move your question to the section that will probably help you most....

Sounds like a typical crankshaft position sensor failure.

The engine control module could be the culprit. When these go bad it can cause all sorts of strange things to occur. The dash lights can flash on and off,the speedometer could quit working, the transmission can go into "limp" mode..etc.There is a way to get the computer to give out some codes that can help out.Turn the key "on" and "off" two times and back "on".(I think this is correct) The check engine light will flash the codes stored in the memory. This won't give all the codes and might not help you out but it's a place to start.
