Default Grinding sound during gear shift from park to reverse

98 Voyager 3.3L Auto. Grinding sound (whirlllllllll) heard loud everytime I shift from park to reverse; otherwise the trans is working fine. Trans fluid/filter were changed two months ago. Fluid at proper level.

I appreciate your insight.

If it is more of a ratchetting sound than a grinding then that is normal (or rather acceptible...lol). All of my 3.3's have had that ratchetting sound.

Thank you for your quick response.

Yeah more like ratchetting sound but it doesn't have that when knew. So i think something must have amiss. Well, if its acceptable just like you said, I will not worry about it then.
