The steering wheel lock seems to be broken on my 2005 Grand Caravan. It will keep on turning after it is in park and the key is off. Unfortunately, the warranty is up. Husband is pretty good at part time mechanics, but this model is so new he can't find a site that shows how it all goes together, so he knows where to start to fix it. Can anyone help?

It usually turns about half way around before it locks. Never heard of the lock breaking before.

 

You can turn it all the way to the right and left as far as the wheels will turn. Does anyone know how this might be fixed.
