Default 2002 Caravan Engine Light/Tranny?

Good Morning,

I have a 2002 Caravan (4 cyllinder). Driving home last night, stuck in traffic, I noticed that awful jerking in the engine at speeds under 10 mph. It was not constant but had that hard pull. Then my engine light came on. As I picked up speed everything was fine and I made it home and to work this morning.

I called my dealer, as I just had the tranny rebuilt 2 months ago because it failed (Thank goodness for the 100K powertrain warranty, I currently have 85K). He tells me it may now be a speed sensor.

Again, driving today was fine. When I hit traffic I again noticed that slight pull at 10 mph. I am bringing it in to the dealer Monday morning but was wondering this. I need to have transportation over the weekend, though I will be driving MAYBE 70 miles top. He suggested not driving it at all. What's the opinion of the group?
